Hello!! I started glazing this week. I completed three pots. I wanted to paint my orange pot with a glaze called 'vivid orange', but I couldn't find it so I went with just 'orange' instead. Haha! I painted three coats of that for the body, three coats of 'chrome green' for the leaf, and 'tobacco brown' for the little stem. I had some difficulty with the brown glaze because it was super rough and had a bunch of little pebbles, even though it's not a CTL glaze. I noticed it cracked a little when it dried on my pot. I hope it turns out alright!
The next pot I did was my little Pheebly monster. I painted it with three coats of 'azurite', a really pretty turquoise blue shade with little dark pebbles. I painted the beak a tan color called 'yellow universe', which i thought would complement the blue nicely. Lastly, I painted the eyeballs with a plain white glaze.
For my cupcake, I mixed white and red acrylic paint to get the perfect pink shade. I wanted a nice, vibrant pink, which is why I used acrylics. I may use a varnish on top to give it a glossy finish. I painted the lid with an underglaze called 'ivory beige'. I used about four coats because I don't want it to be too transparent. I used the raised accent color pens in the shade 'rose', to look like little sprinkles! Finally, I painted the cherry on top a nice pinky red color.
