I only have two pots left to glaze now! My first batch of glaze pots came out today. They were the orange, pheebly, and cupcake pots. You can find pictures of them under the 'pinch pot' page on my blog! I think they turned out okay, however, I do wish it was a bit more opaque, especially for the cupcake lid where I used an underglaze. Today's class I glazed my heart mug. I decided to use two different shades of red to make it a bit more interesting. On the outside I have a dark, deep red shade called 'flame', and on the inside is a lighter, pinker shade called 'burgundy'. I think the combination will look cool together after it has been fired!
This is my bathtub! I originally planned on it being pink, but somehow I ended up painting it 'Blue gray'. It's a really nice color, but completely different from my original plan. I put those really pretty glass crystals in!! I'm so excited. I think they look so cool after they're fired.
My lily pad/lotus! I chose a really pretty color combo of salmon and avocado underglaze. I hope the glaze won't come out too transparent. I added a deep purple crystal in the center, to add a pop of color in the middle.
