Long time no see. I'm back from my long and relaxing winter break. Today I glazed my coil pot with high fire glaze. It was my first time dipping so it was a bit awkward, but I think it turned out okay. I'm not 100% sure what to expect with the colors, so I'm kind of excited and nervous. The good thing about my pot is that it can be brown, green, or blue and not make a huge difference to me. I chose the color 'iron lustre' for the base, and 'oil spot' for the lid. It was fun dipping the base because the glaze filled up inside because of the window hole, and then I had to pour it out. I'm looking forward to seeing my final tower!! Next class I'm going to focus on my WCP and starting my poster. Talk to you next week, Bethany.
