This week I made some touches to my slab pot, because there were a few things that needed to be fixed. I hot glued my buckle on to the purse after a disastrous attempt to use gorilla glue first. Also, I mixed acrylic paints together to try to get a shade to match the glaze color, and then used it to paint the blank patch on the back of the pot. I coated it with varnish to match the shiny glaze finish. My pot isn't perfect at all but I think it looks nice and is recognizable as a purse. I'm still proud of myself for learning how to use slabs and make a container with a puzzle lid! Check out the slab container page to see a nice photo of the finished result!
